To remove the standard cell pack (Nickel-Cadmium) for charging,
first unscrew the rear cover. The complete plug-in cell pack can then be
removed or replaced with a charged pack within seconds.
The electronics are separated from the cell pack housing by O-Ring seals,
this prevents moisture that has entered the cell pack housing from entering
the strobes electronics.

For the first time in Strobes, we are using the latest generation Nickel-Metal-Hydride
cells (only 125 TTL).
The use of the cells not only allows an extended use of the pilot light
but also provides a strong power source for the transformer.
The available burn time of the pilot light with Nickel-Cadmium cells,
is reduced by approx. 20% however the recycle time is also reduced by
20%.
