The mini compact LCD and maxi compact LCD Underwater lamps unite the technological know-how of the nano compact (re-charging without opening the housing) and the mega compact (LCD display with +/- operating buttons). This extensive range and scope of technological innovations and features is packed into the handy sizes of our tried and tested mini compact and maxi compact underwater lamps.

The following list explains some of the technical features and benefits of the lamps:

• The LCD display with background lighting informs the user of the status of the cell pack charge (%), the power level set and the resulting remaining burn time in minutes for assisting safe dive planning.
• The electronics are operated by buttons that react with light barriers. This results in no adverse effects on a compass during navigation (a danger of magentic switches) and does not require a maintenance intensive mechanical switch.
• A wide range of data can be recalled from the memory onto the display including; serial number of the lamp, date of manufacture, history of use including max.temperature, max. charge current, no of charges, operating hours and much more.

Cell-Pack [+]

• Lithium manganese rechargeable cells allows safe recharging of the cells in a closed housing (ideal for use in extreme environments such as live aboards).
• The plug-in cell pack can be removed and/or replaced by the user in seconds without the use of tools.
• External charging of the cell pack allows the use of a wide range of rechargeable cells.
  

• Stowage for two spare O rings.

Microcontoler

• Increased power output using controlled over voltage. The lamp´s original Osram HLX high power bulb produces more than 25% more light (this is equivalent to more than twice the light output of a standard "DIY" halogen bulb).
  
• The electronics carefully control the current during the critcal phase when the lamp is switched on thus extending the life of the bulb considerably.
  
• The lamp´s switch can be individually programmed to suit the user´s requirements (simple one step on/off, dimmer with 5% steps, dimmer with 25% steps (25%-125%) and morse signal function.
  
• An SOS signal can be activated (3 x short, 3 x long, 3 x short flashes) for attracting attention in an emergency.
  
• When the lamp nears the end of it´s capacity, the user is warned of the immenent end of the burn time by the lamp flashing.
  
• Emergency light mode can be activated before the lamp cuts in the fully discharged protection function.

• The bulb and/or the reflector can be replaced within seconds by the user without the use of tools. The Spot reflector creates a strong central beam with soft transitions to the outer boundaries of the beam for a pleasant general light use. An optional flood reflector is available for use with halogen bulbs for video film lighting.
  
  
  
  
  
  

• The electronics automatically identify the LED module that is plugged in and provide the optimum control for the module used. The brightest high performance LEDs available on the market are used in the lamps

• The mini compact LCD Housing-Video is specifically designed for film and digital photography flood lighting applications.
  By utilising large volume housings (99mm diameter as opposed to 69mm), we have achieved perfect neutral buoyancy. The result is easy handling and movement of the entire camera set-up which traditionally has little to offer in neutral buoyancy features.
  The lamps are ideal for use with digital camera equipment without any problems.
  
  As an option we offer M8 thread in the handle. This creates a flexible mounting point, i.e. using our reliable and secure lever connection.
  
  Our neutrally buoyant extension arm "off-shore" provides even more creative lighting control and possibilities.
